Who we are looking for

The Financing Global Billing Company (GBO) is seeking a danger manager (situated in Boston) to support State Street’s progressing billing threat and manages agenda across billing processes enterprise large.

What you will be accountable for

As Billing Danger Management, AVP you will

  • Partner with GBO and Company System Management to:
  • Examine the design of billing controls after system, procedure and/or org model changes
  • Understand and report State Street’s billing risk exposure holistically
  • Supply instructions and leadership in the end to end events and issues management processes for billing:
  • Serve as reviewer of events and problems
  • Communicate with stakeholders to drive sustainable removal of concerns
  • Bring out monitoring activities around incidents and concerns
  • Perform occurrence and concern analytic procedures with a focus on comprehending root cause and affected controls/ control spaces. This may need helping with meetings between GBO leads and the BU
  • Re-enforce an inherent culture of responsibility and ownership for implementation and execution of controls across all levels and functions within the company
  • Lead and/or actively get involved in the resolution of systemic danger issues
  • Build strong relationships with other groups consisting of Worldwide Billing Organization’s Management Team, State Street Organization Units, and the Financing Organization Controls Group
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed

Education & Preferred Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable needed in accounting, financing, economics or a related field
  • 8 years of associated experience (Internal Audit, Compliance, Operational Threat or Big 4 experience)
  • Well-informed about processes, risks and controls design
  • Understanding of financial services market, financing and billing processes chosen
  • Strong efficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Strong composed communication abilities
  • Strong spoken communication, affecting and partnership abilities
  • Strong crucial thinking and analytical skills
  • Shown ability to construct strong professional relationships
  • Self-motivated professional with the capability to work under pressure to fulfill deadlines and objectives
