Learn What Medical Billing Coders do.

featured image

This video is an introduction to Remington College’s Medical Billing and Coding Program. If you would like to work in the healthcare field, but not in direct patient care, then medical insurance coverage and coding might be the profession field for you.

When a client visits a Dr., the Dr.’s workplace maintains a record of the Dr.’s observations. Later, those observations are handed to the Medical Coder. The coder prepares, organizes and assesses the documents, making sure they are complete and accurate. Coding experts are accountable for applying a code for each diagnosis and treatment for insurance coverage billing.
