Medical Billing Expert

NuVIEW Health, a healthcare company, is looking for a medical billing professional to join our group. Applicant must have charge entry experience and a strong work ethic. Experience in collections is also a plus. Quality applicants will have a positive personality and are able to adjust to change and work well with colleagues.

Requirements

• Communication with hospitals/physicians to gather info needed for billing
• Evaluation medical facility medical records for proper code task including diagnosis
• Accessing several various healthcare facility EMR systems
• Costs and goes into charges in a prompt manner in a high volume setting.
• Keeps supervisor apprised of matters concerning billing concerns.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of coding (CPT/ICD-10/ Modifiers).
• Ability in organization.
• Capability to research coding guidelines (LCD/CCI knowledge a plus)
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Computer skills (ECW experience a plus)
• Ability to learn new things and adjust to change rapidly.
• CPC a plus but not required
