Full-time Billing Professional

Westfield, MA

Healthcare Resource Centers is looking for an arranged, analytical and detail oriented Billing Professional to manage billing processes and claims submissions. Perform Billing duties and duties while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality when managing delicate and private information.

Important Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and upgrade eligibility
  • Send out billing claims (electronic and paper) weekly
  • Post insurance coverage payments day-to-day
  • Track payments on monthly tracker
  • Process bank deposit sheets and reports
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets such as trackers and active patient list
  • Run month end reports and assist with monthly reports
  • Charge copays/deductibles/coinsurance as required
  • Research study, track and re-bill unpaid claims
  • Work denials as needed
  • Resubmit claims with COB/Medicare denials as required
  • Make/accept calls for insurance coverages and websites on a daily basis as required
  • Process refunds as needed
  • Other related responsibilities as determined by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a medical billing setting, processing medical claims
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurances, and so on is needed
  • Experience with Insurance Eligibility verification is required
  • Suboxone billing experience is chosen
  • Strong mathematical skills and typing/data entry abilities needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel needed
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or comparable required
