The Director will examine coding and paperwork by Medical facility Trinity Clinic (CTC) companies and coders and supply education in all divisions of the Centers.

Supply system-wide instructions for professional paperwork and coding associated activities, audits, education, and tracking

Initiate workflow enhancements and standardization to increase effectiveness and precision of paperwork and coding for all services and companies

Serve as a liaison in between clinical companies and coders to solve documents and coding problems

Establish, carry out, and keep a formalized evaluation process for coding and paperwork compliance, including a formal audit procedure and quality control system

Evaluate existing compliance activities and examine risk aspects in coding and paperwork practices and execute strategies to mitigate risk, inform service providers and coders

Set performance standards and carry out evaluations; drive educational programs, if required, to enhance data quality

Monitor reports associated to coding, documentation patterns and outcomes and offer feedback and education to suppliers and coders

Produce and evaluate system-wide reports on providers coding DNFB, edits, audits, etc

Successfully interacts with suppliers, need to be able to speak to the level of how to E&M level based on documents with both suppliers and coders.

Provides prompt feedback to providers/coders and take restorative action to ensure education is reliable

Skilled with ICD-10 and HCC coding as well as E&M and all professional coding standards for large multi-specialty provider groups

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a health details management or other healthcare-related field required

Masters degree in related field preferred

Conclusion and mastery of coursework in human anatomy and physiology; ICD and CPT coding; and medical terms chosen

Appropriate HIM and coding credentials and accreditations (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC)

5 years of health care experience needed; at least 3 years of progressive responsibility preferred

3-5 years of hands on expert coding experience big multi-specialty group

3 years of experience as a fitness instructor/ educator to doctors and coders

Strong working knowledge of ICD coding category systems, CPT and E&M guidelines

Working knowledge of coding for 3rd party payers including CMS guidelines and repayment compliance

Understanding of HIPAA, JCAHO, and other compliance requirements

Knowledge of health details systems and database innovation

Proven organizational and job management skills Shown group advancement and social skills

Strong analytical and analytical abilities

Strong interaction and presentation skills

Standard computer system abilities (i.e., word-processing, spreadsheets, and menu-driven software)
