The Billing Supervisor will work carefully with the Billing Manager managing employee efficiency, training and responding to concerns. They will work closely with offshore work procedures and performance to enhance workflow efficiencies.

The Supervisor will react to customer billing concerns, and other queries. They will focus on offering timely and quality reactions.

The Supervisor is a key member of the ALN management group, working with other leaders to cultivate a team up culture within the company while encouraging high efficiency in all locations.

OBLIGATIONS:

  • Communicates routinely on daily operations with assigned customers
  • Establish client particular and/or standard procedure (SOPs) to enhance workflows, make sure consistency and accuracy of the revenue cycle procedure, taking full advantage of technology to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Based upon exposure to feedback from customer, offshore or ALN team the Manager will recommend leadership relating to opportunities for improvement associated to client or ALN performance metrics
  • Recognizes key areas of procedure enhancement and suggests techniques of modification, carries out authorized changes.
  • Contributes as required in the style, communication and implementation of new techniques to reporting, policies, and SOPs, to increase reporting accuracy and influence continuous improvements in operation effectiveness.
  • Gathers and assesses the results of billing operations regularly and reports these results to the Billing Supervisor and/or Director.
  • Utilizes reports, workflow to monitor day-to-day operations and performance and deals with leadership to attend to positive/negative trends.
  • Makes sure that quality of work is kept which compliance policies and treatments are followed through billing operations.
  • Supports customer RCM meetings by preparing asked for material in cooperation with the Manager and Director. Able to document conference minutes.
  • Compile periodic and ad-hoc reports and interact them to the group consisting of review of codes and carrier particular reports weekly.
  • Handles day-to-day vendor activity through established workflow, constant interactions including new processes, modifications, projects and problems.
  • Able to respond to concerns from ALN team and might assist with Billing Specialists tasks connected to:
  • Capital and balancing
  • Aging
  • Credit balances and collections
  • Rework targets
  • Log resolution
  • Changes
  • Patient Group e-mails
  • Offshore questions
  • Acts in the very best interest of the business and its client’s while preserving and safeguarding the confidentiality of all ALN and customer details.
  • Other responsibilities as may be appointed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for group particular training and advancement of employee, providing feedback and tracking
  • Supplies leadership, direction and effective communication.
  • Manages staff level team members.
  • Carries out obligations in accordance with the company’s policies and appropriate laws.
  • Mentors staff member on the preparation and assigning of work along with training and development.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Medical Billing chosen
  • Degree in Medical Billing or a similar field is desirable
  • Actively supports modification
  • Ability to effectively manage 7-10 workers
  • Capable of making timely independent choices
  • Motivates regard and trust
  • Proficient with Microsoft Workplace suite of items, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook in addition to exceptional 10 secret and mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of insurance submittal procedures and medical forms (consisting of UB92 and HCFA 1500) and doctor compensation preferred
  • Previous experience dealing with Athena

(GE) Centricity and NextGen billing systems wanted but not required
