Sr. Coding Specialist, Urology
TASK SUMMARY:
Reviews, properly designates, and abstracts diagnostic and procedural codes to encounters using designated coding category individually. Supports on-going training and advancement of personnel.
SECRET RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arranges and focuses on complex coding work to make sure compliance with regulative requirements and hospital targets.
- Designates the most appropriate diagnosis and treatments to show the usage of resources during the patient encounter.
- Acknowledges paperwork clarification chances to ensure it supports all codes and classification assignments. Initiates coding questions or jobs.
