Responsibilities

  • Ensure documents is sent out with claims as needed.
  • Ensure all printed claims are sent by mail within proper timespan per department schedule matching very same payor claims for bulk mailing.
  • Process secondary claims, paper and electronic. Get and connect the main Explanation of Benefits to the printed secondary claims on a weekly basis.
  • Transmit electronic claims as readily available per department schedule.
  • Review electronic mistakes and rejection reports and deal with as suitable.
  • Reconcile claims billed using offered tools
  • Contact centers as needed for details needed for billing, intensify as required.
  • Maintain and upgrade notes on clients’ accounts as needed
  • Immediately inform management of payor problems or issues and keep continuous interaction up until solved.
  • Assist with rebills.
  • Communicate hold-ups or issues connected to holds or inquired to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all HIPAA requirements and requirements are followed and carried out regularly.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma of Equivalent
  • 6 months of client service experience– Retail/Hospitality/Banking

Preferred:

  • 6 months of work experience
  • Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work from several programs with double screens
  • An information oriented person
  • Able to work carefully with others in a group setting
  • Ability to examine and fix issues
  • Strong social interaction abilities
  • Ability to handle time successfully to fulfill set due dates
  • Strong company abilities and attention to information
