Overview

Reliant Medical Group is looking for a Billing Compliance Auditor to join our fired up and ingenious company!

Position: Full time 40 weekly

Hours: 8: 30 am – 5: 00 pm Monday-Friday

No Weekends, No Holidays

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out internal coding audits and billing compliance evaluations of different aspects of doctor billing for the company. Functions within defined 3rd party payer and federal (CMS) coding/billing policies. Establishes training and education products. Supplies training and education to service providers, scientific department and Revenue Operations personnel. Supplies other internal billing-related compliance services to the company as needed. Procedures coding patterns as compared to nationwide requirements.

Qualifications

  • BS in Health Related Field, or Registered Nurse, LPN with experience
  • Certified Professional Coder needed (CPC, CCS-P, CCS, CPC-A, CPC-H)
  • Three (3) to 5 (5) years experience in ICD-9/ ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding
  • Experience with auditing doctor medical records making use of E M standards
  • Utilize basic scoring (CMS) methods to report findings to companies
  • Ability to utilize scientific referral with the auditing procedure
  • Apply CPT and ICD-9/ ICD-10 coding convention to documents standards
  • Apply CMS and other payer restraints to last code and documents decision
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of medical terms, anatomy and physiology or effective conclusion of associated college course
  • Demonstrated experience in a physician/professional billing environment. Shown experience with 3rd party payer standards Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) or effective conclusion of associated course
  • Must reveal efficiency in existing billing software application within 6 (6) months
