Job Purpose:

The Coding Team Lead will be participated in all efforts of the technical and/or expert billing and coding procedures, communicating, interacting, and structure relationships and establishing workers. The position will be the crucial individual in arranging, scheduling, and keeping track of the day-to-day operations of the coding/billing location. Essential Functions:

  • Stay abreast of payer requirements and modifications in the market and interact those modifications to group and management

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • CPC Certification Required
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in Revenue Cycle
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd party billing/coding standards.
  • Experience with several billing and EMR Systems
  • Working understanding of ICD-9/ ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding

Preferred Skills

  • ROCC, CHONC, qualifications chosen however not needed.
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Familiar with Chemotherapy and Radiation Billing
