Job Description Summary:
Lead a group of specialized coders accountable for determining ICD-10 codes in the client’s record with suitable documents to make sure precise coding is assessed the claim. In this function the supervisor will be focused mostly on the recognition and capture of medical danger modification ICD-10 codes (HCC/RAF). Supports structure exceptional procedures and working together with partners throughout a number of departments, such as Informatics, Clinical, Operations Legal, and Compliance. You will supply interdepartmental management on proper HCC/RAF ICD-10 codes that improve the intricacy of the client’s comorbidities in combination with a cancer medical diagnosis.
Position Qualifications/Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of straight associated experience, consisting of 3yrs of supervisory experience, and partner’s degree or greater, relating to coding patterns and understanding of ICD10 and CPT coding.
Must have excellent attention to information; strong written and spoken interaction abilities, able to multi-task and operate in difficult circumstances with little guidance.
Strong company abilities, capability to focus on, regularly provide a high degree of quality while handling numerous needs, and the capability to recognize problems and offer innovative services.
Certification needed CCS, CPC and/or CCS-P (CRC chosen).
