BASIC SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

The Coding Manager reports to the Professional Billing Office Associate Director of Coding & QA Services and is accountable for directing coding system activities to guarantee proper coding of expert services in a prompt way.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Coding Manager is needed to:

  • Coordinate efforts of coding planners and personnel to fulfill system goals. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical, organization or associated field with 5 years of experience in a medical or associated field; or

  • Coding accreditation or desire to get accreditation within 2 years of presuming position.
