Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma needed. Some college chosen.
Experience/Certification:
Must fulfill among the following:
- RHIA or RHIT accreditation or (2) are a Registered Nurse or LPN and have 2 years of intense care coding experience and attain CCS assessment accreditation within one fiscal year of hire date or (3) Certified Coding Specialist.
- ( credentials under product # 1 as RHIA or RHIT accreditation is chosen)
- ( RHIA of RHIT accreditation and a CCS highly chosen).
- A minimum of 3 years particular ICD coding experience needed.
- Prior HIM management experience chosen.
Special Skills:
- 3M, ICD-10- CM, MS-DRG, POA, and CPT understanding and experience chosen.
- Strong PC abilities experience needed.
Physical Requirements: Light-Medium Physical Agility test score (PAT)
