Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
– Minimum of one year of expert or medical facility billing or receivables follow-up experience, OR
– Minimum of 2 years experience in a Revenue Cycle function working mostly with payors, OR
– Completion of the Seattle Children’s Revenue Cycle Coordinator program or recognized medical billing/coding program
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in Windows environment.
Preferred:
– More than 2 years center or health center billing or balance dues follow-up experience.
– Experience dealing with medical claims and electronic information interchange systems, e.g. Epic, Relay Health, Xactimed/Med Assets.
– Medical billing/coding experience.
– Bachelor’s degree or licensed medical billing credential such as CRCS, Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist.
– Basic job management experience.
