Summary

Support billing and collections functions of the medical practice

Responsibilities

• Enter charges in a prompt way.
• File claims and run/work audit tracks everyday
• Process ERAs, payments, and changes
• Balance everyday activity
• Prepare and send out Batch Cover Sheet to Director and accounting
• Ensure that front workplace personnel appropriately gathers copays and balances due sometimes of service by auditing client monetary information approximately 2 days prior to go to
• Review/work overdue insurance coverage and client balances Work credit balances
• Run reports as asked for by management or accounting

Qualifications:

Education

Required: High school diploma/GED needed

Preferred: Completion billing or coding program

Experience

Required: Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working in medical billing
