Job Summary

The Medical Director of the Pascua Yaqui Health Services Department (PYHSD) offers the healthcare point of view and understanding of scientific care concerns to guide choices worrying healthcare goals, program management, and resource allotment. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Medical Director for the Yoeme Health Plan; operate in cooperation with YHP Staff in identifying protection of healthcare for YHP members for Pima County and Maricopa County members.
  • Coordinate and monitor scientific programs sponsored by PYHSD, consisting of however not restricted to, the Behavioral Health Program (Centered Spirit), New Beginnings Opiate Treatment Program, Community Health Nursing Program, the Alternative Medicine Program, HIV/AIDS Prevention Program, and the Diabetes Prevention Program, this consist of a workplace in Guadalupe, Arizona.
