Medical Scheduler
Under very little guidance, is accountable for scheduling client visits and tests in an effective and prompt way. Responses all inbound calls and directs contacts us to suitable workers. Functions as an intermediary in between client and medical personnel. May consist of outside scheduling and/or surgical scheduling obligations. Might be designated as lead, with obligations consisting of orientation, training and task of work to lower level workers.
Answers all inbound calls; examines callers’ requirements and directs to suitable workers. Pages center workers as suitable. Obtains and interacts messages in a precise and prompt way.
Schedules brand-new clients, client recommendations and returning clients in computer system in accordance with doctor and/or workplace standards. For brand-new and or referred clients, establishes in system with proper documents and coding. Cancels/reschedules consultations according to doctor schedule modifications; informs suitable center workers.
Obtains and gets in all permission and correspondence connecting to recommendations in clients’ charts and/or electronic medical records (EMR).
Collects co-pays, deductible and other expense quantities sometimes of check out.
Pay rate $18/ hr
M-F 8: 30 a-5p
