Under basic instructions, the Patient Access Representative I is accountable for finishing jobs related to particular projects. Particular task obligations will remain in registration, monetary clearance, insurance coverage confirmation, cashier, and so on as appointed by Revenue Cycle Management. Client Access Representative I is anticipated to carry out project jobs within the quality and efficiency requirements designated to place obligations.

Responsibilities:

· Completes all appointed jobs and obligations of Patient Access Representative I precisely and in a prompt way

· Responds quickly, expertly and courteously to all consumers’ requirements

· Cooperates and interacts efficiently with all McLaren Health Care staff member

Qualifications

Required:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Minimum 6-month of Patient Access, Medical Billing or Customer Service work experience

· Proven abilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, Window based applications, and 10 crucial calculators

Preferred:

· Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance or associated location. Comparable mix of education and appropriate experience might be accepted

· Certification in medical billing, coding, or comparable task particular accreditation

· Working understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10

• One-year experience in Revenue Cycle
