Accountabilities/ Duties

The Medical Records Expert procedures and arranges medical records in a timely way and in compliance with regulative and accrediting firms, along with state and federal laws. The Medical Record Clerk makes sure efficiency of the record by auditing charts and completing a medical records list. Medical Records Clerk deals with the storage and retention of charts, responds to ask for medical record, copies and preserves medical record tracking log. The Medical Records Clerk will function within the Center’s policies and treatments, assistance SCA Values, SCA Vision and SCA Objective.

Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school chosen
  • three – 5 years’ experience in a medical workplace, health center, outpatient surgery center or associated field
  • Computer system experience, Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software Application and Applications
  • Working understanding of Medical Terms.
