Duties for this Billing Specialist are responsible for however not restricted to:

  • Receiving and sorting inbound payments with attention to reliability
  • Acting on unsettled claims and denied claims
  • Deal with ageing reports in a timely manner
  • Dealt with payer sites, portals, and calling directly to solve billing issues
  • Submit appeals
  • Managing the status of accounts and balance and identifying inconsistencies
  • Issuing expenses, receipts and billings
  • Ensure all customers remain notified on their outstanding debts and due dates
