Job Title: Doctor Coding Intermediary

Fulltime (40 hours/week)

Position Requirements:

Licensure, Registration and/or Accreditation Required:

Coding Associate (CCA) certification issued by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or

Coding Expert ~ Physician (CCS ~ P) certification provided by the American Health Details Management Association (AHIMA), or

Health Details Administrator (RHIA) registration released by the American Health Details Management Association (AHIMA), or

Health Info Specialist (RHIT) registration issued by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or

Specialist Coder (CPC) certification released by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), or

Specialized Coding Professional (SCP) certification issued by the Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance (BMSC).

Accountabilities:

Supplies PSA coding and documents education and feedback associated to coding changes (CPT consisting of E and M, modifiers, ICD ~10 ~ CM and HCPCS), annual code updates, payer requirements, and payer rejection resolution
