This volume includes the procedures of the 13 th Worldwide Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security, held at the Accra Beach Hotel and Resort, Barbados, February 23–26,2009 Financial Cryptography and Data Security (FC) is a reputable int- nationwide online forum for research study, advanced advancement, education, expedition and dispute relating to details guarantee in the context of? nance and commerce.
The conference covers all elements of protecting deals and systems. The objective of FC is to bring security and cryptography scientists and pr- titioners together with economic experts, lenders, and policy makers.
This year, we put together a dynamic program including 21 peer-reviewed term paper pres- tations, 2 panels (on the economics of details security and on authen- cation), and a keynote address by David Dagon.
In spite of an expansion of security and cryptography places, FC continues to get a great deal of top quality submissions. This year, we got 91 submissions(75 full-lengthpapers,15 shortpapersand1panel).
Eachsubmission was evaluated by a minimum of 3 customers. Following a strenuous choice, ranking and conversation procedure, the Program Committee accepted 20 full-length documents, 1 brief paper and 1 panel.
The total approval rate was 24%.
