Calls clients to advise them of arranged visits, to reschedule absence consultations and to confirm market info for billing functions; prepares charts and experience tickets for set up centers in accordance with written policies and standards; checks clients into center; welcomes clients; gets market and insurance coverage details; obtains insurance coverage and medical records launch permission in accordance with HCFA standards and Risk Management policies; confirms insurance coverage through private insurance coverage provider sites and files required details for billing functions; scans insurance coverage details utilizing the NextGen EPM system; alerts clients of non-covered services being rendered; checks clients out of center; evaluations come across tickets for efficiency and precision of CPT and ICD9 codes and follows up with company when proper coding and files are not offered; secrets all charges into electronic billing system; gathers clients co-payments or balances due on account and gets in payments into the system; responses clients questions concerning charges and payments; prints expenses as needed for clients requesting them sometimes of service; tracks experience tickets day-to-day to make sure that all scientific activities are published, that all absence and canceled clients are properly tape-recorded on both the info system and medical records for compliance functions, which charges, payments and deposits balance; follows proper money handling policies and treatments; schedules client consultations for professors and other medical suppliers in accordance with written policies and standards; responses telephone questions and supplies fundamental info concerning doctor credentials, readily available consultation times, instructions and billing requirements; screens phone call and links clients to personnel most certified to deal with questions considered outside the scope of this position (i.e. medical, legal, compliance concerns) in accordance with policies and treatments; creates recommendation permission demands to other experts following written policies and treatments; keeps medical records; files scientific information, recommendations, inpatient records and test results daily; procedures all medical records demands, impairment types and subpoenaed records according to HIPAA and Risk Management standards and policies; makes use of health network details system for client registration, scheduling visits, examining clients in and out and client query; guarantees client privacy; routine and timely participation; capability to work schedule as specified and overtime as needed; associated responsibilities as needed.
