Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) ® modifications are coming quickly! The 2022 modifications work January 1,2022 The modifications here are for the cardiovascular system; modifications for other areas are talked about in different videos.
The modifications were made to these areas: pacemaker/implantable defibrillator, electrophysiologic personnel treatments, heart valves, coronary artery bypass graft, shunting and endovascular repair work.
A number of the modifications consist of brand-new codes and referrals to Category III codes and codes in the Medicine Section.
