Job Summary and Qualifications
Job Summary: Performs all charge capture functions for the system labs consisting of General Laboratory, Fullerton Genetics, Microbiology, Pathology, and Transfusion Services. Screens billing procedures and makes corrections as required. Handles the prompt and precise publishing of lab charge details for both client and client-billed encounters. What certifications you will require:
Required Education: High School diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years equivalent medical or billing experience. Computer system, keyboarding, and typing abilities needed.
