Part time or full-time offered. pay depends upon experience. Can Range from 10-17 / hr based upon experience. Training is readily available for folks with out experience.

Classic Vision Care is searching for determined expert prospects, with a working understanding of ICD-10 and CPT codes.

Full-time task with medical, vision, oral, paid time off and 401 k advantages

The perfect prospect has present working understanding of Optometry billing and coding.

Responsibilities consist of and not limted to:

• Claim submission both digitally and on paper for Vision and Meidical Insuarnce
• Insurance payment publishing (vision and medical)
• Audit receivables for precision and accountable for handling A/R levels
• Manage insurance coverage appeals (all insurance coverages)
• Build a strong workplace for our customers and their clients
• File insurance coverage for medical and vision
• Order glasses and contacts
• Create Fee slips
• Make remote deposits
• Scan/process EOB/EOP
• Assist clients and colleagues with insurance coverage concerns
• Send electronic/mail correspondence to clients
• Bill out claims online and through mail
• Sort mail and disperse
• Scan files and paper records into client’s charts
• Help with benefits/insurance confirmation
• Reduce balance dues to less than 10 k for 90 days, less than 5k 60-90 days.

Secondary needed responsibilities (full-time just):

• Answer phone
• Schedule clients
• Verify all insurance coverage advantages
• Data entry
• Take client’s image for their chart
• Keep workplace neat and fresh throughout the day
• Open and prepare examination spaces
• Shut down test spaces at end of day
• Check clients in for visits
• Send recalls and recommendation letters or cards
• Assist with EOB, investigating why claims have not been paid.
• Submit claims to clearing home
• Monitor site, Facebook, and so on
• Count money box early morning and night

• Creating orders for glasses and contacts.
• Pretesting of clients
• Take retinal images
• Administer visual fields tests
• Dispense glasses and contact lenses
• Assist clients with glasses and contact lens purchases
• Teach I & R for brand-new contact lens clients
• Adjust and fix of glasses

• Showing glasses

Required

• Strong spoken and written interaction abilities
• Ability to handle a range of jobs simultaneously
• Strong customer care abilities
• Basic computer system understanding
• Strong Team Player
• able to move in between workplaces
