This individual is accountable for precise client billing and associated functions worrying the business’s Personal Injury Case Management department. They will guarantee that billing information is total and precise, guarantee billables accompany agreements/fee sheets, and follow up in a practical, yet expert way when info is missing out on, unreliable or requires additional meaning.

  • Customer service– describe expenses to customers and respond to associated concerns
  • Collaborate with other employee and the Information Technology Department to improve billing and other treatments
  • Process customer refunds
  • Review/read arbitration choices prepared by hearing officers to ensure the choices are grammatically proper and there are no contradictions, disparities, or mathematical mistakes.
  • Follow up on a prompt basis for exceptional kinds, timesheets, and choices from hearing officers
  • Enter brand-new companies and customers into the business’s Case Management System
  • Scan choices and other files into business’s Case Management System
  • Follow up on getting right e-mail addresses for customers when they are returned
  • Work on other advertisement hoc requirements/projects as required
  • Back up other members of the accounting/finance personnel in the efficiency of their responsibilities consisting of reconciliations, accounts payable, processing of charge card payments, monetary declaration preparation assistance/general journal assistance, collections, and so on

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Billing/invoicing/bookkeeping experience
  • Proofreading ability/experience
  • Legal understanding of injury matters is a plus, however not needed
  • Hands-on experience with MS-office programs, consisting of Word and Excel
  • An analytical mind with analytical ability
  • Attention to information, extremely arranged, great mathematics abilities, capability to fulfill due dates

Education:

Compensation & Benefits:
