What you will do:

The Billing Analyst is accountable for carrying out a range of clerical responsibilities associated with the effective and service oriented operation of a medical practice. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to keep track of and deal with Claims Work lines; Specifically, Front End, Referrals & Authorizations, and Clinical Workflow.
  • Responsible for keeping track of the Trinity Health Front End Metrics and dealing with Practice Management to determine academic chances as needed.
  • Responsible for evaluation of rejection/ rejections and cross out control panels for patterns and supply essential education to Providers/ front end users.
  • Ensure all required recommendation documents is gotten and recorded to protect suitable income.
  • Responsible for running regular monthly reports to determine any outbound recommendations and interact back to Manager for any enhancement chances
  • Ensures all billable services are processed within the EMR in a prompt way.
  • Ensures all billed services are sent to insurance coverages as “Clean Claims”
  • Works within the working line to evaluate all charges and send to claims scrubber
  • Work all claims scrubber modifies in a prompt basis
  • Identify any troublesome charges for additional evaluation to fix coding/billing concerns
  • Adhere to productivity/quality standards
  • Communicate successfully and expertly with other departments within the company
  • Work with Revenue Cycle Manager to recognize required feedback to practice places.
  • Process inpatient charges sent by suppliers through user interface tool or manual sheets
  • Manually get in charges as appointed and total charge reconciliation daily.
  • Report any exceptional claims to get in touch with to make sure all claims are billed prompt
  • Review each claim for suitable details.
  • Identify and evaluation high dollar impressive balances and guarantee Financial Assistance choices are provided to clients and/ or protected by Front End users.
  • Provide needed feedback from functional departments to Revenue Integrity group as suitable
  • Act as a Superuser for the website and serve as a resource, to make sure client concerns are responded to.
  • Maintain client privacy and comply with HIPAA guidelines as proper.
  • Daily TOS reconciliation with front end
  • Work cooperatively with all staff member to make sure quality service at all times.
  • May be accountable for several Providers or Departments.
  • Travel will be needed as appointed by functional leader.
  • Perform other tasks as appointed.

What you will require:

  • High school diploma or equivalency needed; Associates degree chosen.
  • Effective composed and spoken interaction abilities
  • 3 years’ experience in a doctor practice or billing workplace
  • Demonstrated attention to information, company & reliable time management
  • Ability to work individually with little guidance
  • Knowledge of CPC
  • Knowledge of CPT, CPTII, and ICD10
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage providers
  • Solid judgment to intensify concerns properly
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, associated computer system programs & basic workplace devices
  • Ability to raise 20 pounds.
