Job Summary

Position is accountable for administering, directing, preparing and collaborating all clerical and workplace activities. Supervises day-to-day workplace operations and delegates authority to designated personnel. Develops standards for focusing on work activities, examining efficiency, and customizing activities as required. Guarantees that workplace is staffed properly. Supervises workplace payroll and leave records. Supervises and makes sure that day-to-day operations run according to workplace treatments. Accountable for monitoring receivables posting/balancing, examining and processing overdue represent correct handling or payment plans, collections, or indigent follow-up. Accountable for evaluation, coding and prompt return of billings to accounting. Functions carefully with Office Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: One year of experience working in a medical/physician practice setting
  • Substitutable Education & Experience: None
  • Required Certifications/Licensure: None
  • Required Training: Medical Terminology, ICD-9, and CPT coding experience

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring balance dues posting/balancing, evaluating and processing overdue represent correct handling or payment plans, collections, or indigent follow-up.
  • Responsible for evaluation, coding and prompt return of billings to accounting.
  • Works carefully with Practice Manager.
  • Performs all other tasks as designated.
