Title: Billing Supervisor -Mental Health – New Milford Hospital Behavioral Health – New Milford, CT – 40 hours weekly, 8 hour shifts, 8: 30 am – 5: 00 pm.
Summary: Responsible for the total operation of the front workplace location. Implements treatment, policies and administers modifications. Trains personnel as required. Covers for all workplace operates as required from registration procedure to scheduling, together with administrative functions. Helps the director with everyday operations as asked for.
Responsibilities:
1. Schedules visits, phones, consumption information, consults and helps clinicians with requirements, correspondence, and so on
2. Manages front location to guarantee effective operations. Help and cover personnel as required to finish day-to-day and regular monthly due dates.
3. Examines insurance coverage problems.
4. Goes into payments, and balances and prepares bank deposit.
5. Run reports, and assembles information as required. Procedures minimized charge and charity applications.
6. Pulls and evaluations charts for termination. Check for auditing functions.
7. Functions on regular monthly variation report, and helps with annual budget plan.
8. Participates in conferences, executes and shares details and modifications.
9. Orders products and starts work orders for the department.
10. Evaluations and authorizes department personnel time cards.
11. Updates credentialing as required through CAQH.
12. Might be cross trained to offer protection throughout the service line as required.
13. Satisfies all compliance duties connected to the position.
14. Carries out other tasks as appointed.
Other details:
Required: Previous supervisory abilities, computer system skills/basic workplace devices, Medical Terminology, analytical abilities, money handling abilities, Insurance experience.
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Desired: Meditech experience, shared workplace.
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
