Purpose:

This position is accountable for supplying billing and collections support to experienced nursing centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform collections deal with designated client accounts to increase capital and decrease client balance dues.
  • Meet the month end closing due dates by guaranteeing that all information entry is properly inputted into the system.
  • Work with the Director, Patient Accounts Receivable to establish, carry out, and preserve a basic receivables month end close schedule.
  • Assist in advancement, modification, and application of policies and treatments for balance dues (consisting of the admissions procedure) in the proficient nursing centers, with the objective of promoting consistency in operations.
  • Provide billing assistance to business workplace as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year prior experience in medical billing and collections
  • Previous experience in an experienced nursing center (SNF) with understanding of SNF Medicare,
  • Third Party and Medicaid billing policies is highly chosen.
  • Must have strong organizational and computer system abilities.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34
  • OAPSA
