POSITION SUMMARY

Provides scientific and/ or administrative assistance in an Ambulatory Practice or Clinic.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of a ABHES or CAAHBP Medical Assistant program or 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or like health care function chosen.

Experience with EHR is chosen.

High School graduate or GED equivalent is needed.

Must be experienced and competent in standard scientific proficiencies.

Must interact successfully and work well with others. Assertiveness, organizational abilities, efficient time management, versatility and self-motivation are vital for the function. Need to have the ability to fulfill the physical needs of the position such as flexing, extending, kneeling, twisting, lifting, client transfer, pressing, and pulling, and so on. Should have the ability to raise 30 pounds.

ORGANIZATION
