This is a full-time (0.8-1.0 Status), day shift Coding Supervisor position in CPG Physician Billing. Accountable for collaborating and managing the everyday responsibilities of coding and charge entry staff. Ensures optimum day-to-day work flow and allocation of resources to satisfy need for services with readily available personnel. Executing changes in coding policies, collaborating with doctors for coding education. Will work coding edits and code procedures to help satisfy due dates. Teach and coach coders and doctors.
Minimum Required: CPC– Certification from AAPC or CCS-P from AHIMA, knowledge of HIPPA. 3 years coding experience.
On-Call/ Weekend Requirements: As required to satisfy due dates.
This position undergoes Drug & Alcohol screening according to MT Law: 39 -2-205-39 -2-211
Education: High School
Experience: 3 years: Coding experience with CCS qualifications needed.
