About Susan Montana.
Susan Montana has actually worked in the health care finance market for several years and used numerous hats, however always from a consulting point of view.
She’s worked with providers and practice managers from many specialties, big hospital systems, and governmental and private payors. She has extensive experience in all transactional elements of health care financing (eligibility, billing, payment, cost avoidance, audits, etc.) which allows her to distinctively understand the monetary correlation between company and payor.
She’s particularly successful in implementing effective ways to allow service providers to get, and keep, payments from payors.
Ms. Montana is an AAPC Licensed Specialist Coderand Qualified Expert Medical Auditor, and Qualified Healthcare Innovation Expert– Trainer. She has substantial Task Management experience, and is well versed in present healthcare patterns and problems. She got her BBA from The College of Insurance.
Susan is a radio programmer at WUSB Stony Brook, 90.1 fm and produces Business of Healthcare with Habanero providing academic programming, discussion and Q&A on the latest patterns in healthcare.
She survives on Long Island and delights in cruising.
