Summary
Support billing and collections functions of the medical practice
Responsibilities
- Enter charges in a prompt way.
- File claims and run/work audit tracks day-to-day
- Process ERAs, payments, and changes
- Balance everyday activity
- Prepare and send out Batch Cover Sheet to Director and accounting
- Ensure that front workplace personnel effectively gathers copays and balances due sometimes of service by auditing client monetary information approximately 2 days prior to go to
- Review/work overdue insurance coverage and client balances Work credit balances
- Run reports as asked for by management or accounting
Qualifications
Education
Required: High school diploma/GED needed
Preferred: Completion billing or coding program
Experience
Required: Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working in medical billing
