Job Summary

Position is accountable for administering, directing, preparing and collaborating all clerical and workplace activities. Supervises day-to-day workplace operations and delegates authority to appointed personnel. Develops standards for focusing on work activities, assessing efficiency, and customizing activities as essential. Guarantees that workplace is staffed properly. Manages workplace payroll and leave records. Manages and makes sure that everyday operations run according to workplace treatments. Accountable for monitoring balance dues posting/balancing, examining and processing overdue represent appropriate handling or payment plans, collections, or indigent follow-up. Accountable for evaluation, coding and prompt return of billings to accounting. Functions carefully with Office Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: One year of experience working in a medical/physician practice setting
  • Substitutable Education & Experience: None
  • Required Certifications/Licensure: None
  • Required Training: Medical Terminology, ICD-9, and CPT coding experience

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring balance dues posting/balancing, examining and processing overdue represent appropriate handling or payment plans, collections, or indigent follow-up.
  • Responsible for evaluation, coding and prompt return of billings to accounting.
  • Works carefully with Practice Manager.
  • Performs all other tasks as designated.
