Billing Professional – Short-lived

Health Care Resource Centers is trying to find an organized, analytical and detail oriented Billing Professional to handle billing procedures and claims submissions. Carry out Billing tasks and responsibilities while maintaining the greatest level of privacy when managing sensitive and confidential information. Quality of work, performance expectations and obligations will be carried out in a way that; is both constant with existing standards of practice and upgraded to integrate current research study trends and, is consistent with the company’s objective statement, objectives and goals.

Vital Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Examine and upgrade eligibility
  • Send billing claims (electronic and paper) weekly
  • Post insurance coverage payments everyday
  • Track payments on regular monthly tracker
  • Process bank deposit sheets and reports
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets such as trackers and active patient list
  • Run month end reports and help with regular monthly reports
  • Charge copays/deductibles/coinsurance as required
  • Research, track and re-bill overdue claims
  • Work denials as needed
  • Resubmit claims with COB/Medicare rejections as necessary
  • Make/accept requires insurances and websites every day as required
  • Process refunds as required
  • Other related responsibilities as figured out by Manager

Certifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a medical billing setting, processing medical claims
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurances, etc. is required
  • Experience with Insurance coverage Eligibility confirmation is needed
  • Suboxone billing experience is chosen
  • Strong mathematical abilities and typing/data entry skills needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel needed
  • Excellent spoken and written communication abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Arrange: 7: 00 am-1: 00 pm and 1: 00 pm-7: 00 pm weekdays
