Join one of the top therapy providers in the US as we revolutionize the industry! As a medical billing specialist at TMC, you will be responsible for posting revenue, collect accounts receivable from patients, post accounts receivable payments, and verify credentials for billing purposes.
Responsibilities
- Post and transmit all initial claim information.
- Print the anticipated check list from Medicare on a weekly basis.
- Prepare contract billing and reports.
Prepare initial paper claims for Billing Assistant. Report on all Medicare denials.
- Ensure claims are paid and properly balanced.
- Re-bill claims as necessary and/or report to the insurance commissioner.
- Post all refunds and transfers.
- Record all denials from the insurance companies.
- Reconcile invoices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Customer service skills.
- 3 + years of medical billing experience.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Knowledge of billing terminology.
- Compliance focused.
- Must have speed and efficiency in typing.
