The Elder Analyst, Physician Coding Quality carries out assistance on Examination and Management standards, brand-new service line education, brand-new specialized coding help, CPT coding modifications and updates, HCC paperwork, and helps with quality evaluates in addition to other tasks connected to doctor coding compliance. Informs physicians and clinic personnel on correct scientific coding and paperwork standards and rules. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of complex coding, repayment, and auditing concepts as they connect to doctor practices and clinic settings. Keeps notified relating to present coding regulations, expert standards and company/department policies and treatments and efficiently uses this understanding.

Manages the prospective guidance/training to new doctor, professionals, billers, and coders in a timely way, prior to quality evaluations being conducted.
Keeps up to date on all coding changes and helps to prepare coding tools and instructional product so practices depend on date on coding specific information that impacts the practices.
Assist in informing coders/billers of code modifications.
Assist and carry out potential education based on quality evaluation findings as required.
Assist and perform quality evaluations as needed/requested.
Routine and trustworthy attendance at meetings.
Perform other duties as designated.

Qualifications
UNDERSTANDING, SKILLS & CAPABILITIES: The requirements noted below are representative of the understanding, abilities and/or abilities required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: 3 years of experience
Certifications: Two of the following certifications (or eligibility therefor):
- CPC
- CEMC
- CPMA
- CRC
- CPB
- Specialized certification
- CCS-P
